If you are looking get the maximum performance out from your high-powered computer, you can enable “Ultimate Performance” option in your Power Plan. The only downside is that it is not energy efficient.
To launch the Power Plan configuration window, run the following command from your run dialog box.
powercfg.cpl
Command prompt command to enable Ultimate Performance Battery Plan.
powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61
Show you list of available Power Plan on your PC.
powercfg /list
To activate Power Plan use the GUID from the “powercfg /list” command.
powercfg /setactive GUID
For example if your (High Performance GUID is “381b4222-f694-41f0-9685-ff5bb260df2e”), this what your command will look like.
powercfg /setactive 381b4222-f694-41f0-9685-ff5bb260df2e
