macOS Big Sur under Ubuntu 20.04



Running macOS Big Sur under Ubuntu 20.04.
I am impressed by how quickly it runs.
The best part is that you do not need Mac. Everything can be done on a single PC.
Network works right out of the box.
Just follow this and choose Big Sur as a target (it failed with other OS)

Lenovo ThinkPad X220 with Core i5 CPU, 8GB RAM, and 250GB SSD

Add +vmx to OpenCore-Boot.sh to add VT-X option
MY_OPTIONS=”+ssse3,……..,+vmx”
Run sysctl -a | grep machdep.cpu.features
if you see VMX, you have VT-X

OK, there is no support for audio – you will need to tweak USB Pass through
