M1 Max MacBook Pro 16″ Battery Test High Power Setting Maximum Screen Brightness For Gaming
This test is to see how long the battery will last for on the 16″ Apple M1 Max MacBook Pro when it is put under completely unreasonable pressure with gaming.
The idea is to max out the M1 Max by increasing the brightness of its display to maximum, having its refresh rate set to ProMotion and switching its battery energy mode to high power.
For most of this test the fans were on maximum and were quite loud.
There’s also a pair of headphone plugged into the Mac and there’s a second boot SSD which is an external 1TB inside a Thunderbolt 3 enclosure. This is used for a second MacOS Monterey installation for my install of Parallels with Windows 11 ARM and my games.
Although this video isn’t using Parallels or Windows 11 ARM. The second MacOS boot SSD also contains my game installs, which is where Fortnite is running from.
