Gaming notebook manufacturers always add custom power plans that can sometimes undervolt or overclock the laptop CPU and GPU. These could have a huge impact on everything from benchmarks to gaming to battery life. In order to test these plans a bit more we used one of the fastest gaming notebooks we’ve benchmarked so far: the Lenovo Legion 7i. And the results REALLY weren’t what we expected, especially in Balanced Mode.
