Hi guys! In this video, I’ll be switching to a Macbook Pro 14″ as my main computer working as a 3D Artist. In these 7 days, I got to experience using Blender on a Macbook, and successfully finishing 2 projects I’ve been working on. Blender 4.0 is here and it’s BEAUTIFUL, my favorite feature that I’ve been waiting for a long long time is LIGHT LINKING, it saves so much time with all the tricks I would have to do to get a similar result.
I have the M2 Pro and M2 Max versions, and even though you could notice some performance difference between both, it was not an issue even on the lower config, I still have the same “issue” and that’s render times, it can’t compete with high-end RTX graphics cards (except efficiency tho, that is awesome in the MacBooks) but hopefully with the newer chips the gap is getting closer!
I didn’t include de specs because I don’t feel like it’s the most important thing and I prefer to tell my own experience and perspective with real usage.
Let me know if…
