Quick tutorial showing the steps to use the new Checkra1n jailbreak on an iPhone X with iOS 13.2.2 installed.
1. Download Checkra1n from www.checkra.in (MAC ONLY)
2. Plug in device then open the Checkra1n application
3. Press start then press Next to place device into Recovery Mode
4. The instructions to place device in DFU mode are sketchy because you have to get the timing exactly perfect. After you hold the side button, as soon as the recovery mode UI disappears (all black screen), let go of the side button and press both the side button and volume down button simultaneously for 4-5 seconds, then let go of the side button and continue to hold the volume down button until you see the Checkra1n application start working.
5. Wait… the device will reboot on its own and the Checkra1n app should be on your home screen.
6. Open Checkra1n app and use it to install Cydia. This app is only for installing package managers. You CANNOT reapply the jailbreak from this app if your device…
