Before starting, make sure that both the sender and recipient are close to each other, ideally within 30 feet. The next step is to open the Control Center by swiping down from the right-hand side of the screen. It’s critical to check that both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are active, and the Personal Hotspot function is switched off.

In the Control Center, long-press on the Network Settings Card, located at the top-left corner, to open it. Tap the AirDrop icon to see an options menu with three settings.
