The 2024 Genesis GV80 is the model that arguably put Hyundai’s luxury brand on the map in Australia. While the G70 and G80 sedans did precede it, the GV80 was the marque’s first SUV, which is the most popular body-style. In the large segment, it competes with heavyweights like the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE.
But with its recently introduced midlife facelift, the GV80 has expanded its line-up with a new Coupe version that introduces a sloping roofline that unashamedly prioritises style over substance, in the same way the BMW X6 and Audi Q8 do. As such, the new variant is the sportiest version of this Genesis yet.
