Edit: User Grimmy here came with our salvation. Add “-force-d3d12” to the command line in the Epic Launcher for DD2. (or DD2 experimental). This forces the gpu to actually do something and your frames should in theory increase. Play around, maybe on some systems it works better with “-force-d3d11” or even “-force-d3d10”.

Weird issue with Darkest Dungeon 2 (early access at release). The game seems to be on a very low fps setting. All in game video setting result in the same outcome.
Animations are slow. FPS is low. No fix yet.
EDIT: Some people have some luck by going into nvidia control panel and disabling v-sync for this program. No dice for me sadly.
