If your Android device won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network, you may need to fix the Wi-Fi stuck on obtaining IP address problem. There are a few things you can try to fix this problem. Restart your Android device and the Wi-Fi router. Make sure the Wi-Fi router is on and you’re within range. Check to see if the Wi-Fi network is secure. If it’s not, try another Wi-Fi network. Forget the Wi-Fi network and then reconnect. Update the Android system software. Reset the Android device to factory settings.
