Do This After Every Windows Update
After doing a major update to Windows 10 or Windows 11, its important to extend the 10 day period to 60 days. This will ensure you have 60 days to test the windows update and see if your pc is effected by the windows update. If your computer is having trouble, then roll back to a previous build before the you updating to this latest release from Microsoft. Without extending to 60 days, you will only have 10 day and by then its too late to rollback.
Open command prompt as administrator and type:
DISM.exe /Online /Get-OSUninstallWindow
DISM /Online /Set-OSUninstallWindow /Value:60
getting error?
navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMSetup
on the right hand pane, look for “UninstallWindow” if its not there, create New / DWORD (32-bit) Value and call it UninstallWindow
change value to 60 on decimal
