can you upgrade B450 from Ryzen 5 3600 to Ryzen 7 5700X3D things to watch out for!
We sold this PC a while back and the owner wanted a speed boost that didn’t cost a fortune and wasn’t keen on a total platform swap.
So enter stage left, the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D CPU to replace the trusty old Ryzen 5 3600.
Also the RAM is being doubled to 32GB, but this method is my least favourable way to do it, as you will see in the video.
Hopefully from me doing this and making a couple of mistakes, both accidentally and one that was sort of pushed on me, you hopefully can make better informed decisions when upgrading your B450 or B550 based PC.
