Laptop Won’t Turn on, Blinking lights – HP Support Community. I have a HP DV4, it was working fine until I closed the lid and it went into hibernation mode. I tried to wake the computer up and the power button was flashing, which I assumed meant it was charging. After a while it just turned off, now when I plug it in I see the lights flash on the bottom of the computer and on the power supply, but when I try to turn it on it just blinks.
