CLOrk – SerendipiTube
A large ensemble improvisation featuring the Concordia Laptop Orchestra (CLOrk) with friends:
* eTube developers (Tommy Davis, Kasey Pocius, Vincent Cusson, and Maxwell Gentili-Morin),
* sound artist Lisa Conway,
* Madrid-based jazz pianist Marcos Merino.
The show features an inclusive multiplicitous improvisation, highlighting the diversity of each participant’s style and contributions while fostering synergy within the ensemble.
The eTube is an electronic musical instrument that extends a baritone saxophone mouthpiece with a plastic tube, augmented by a custom digital interface. Developed by Tommy Davis, Kasey Pocius, Vincent Cusson, and Maxwell Gentili-Morin, it is designed to facilitate interactive musical improvisation between a human performer and digital musical agents. In this performance, it will interact with and be processed by CLOrk.
